In local election results, the Dutchess County Comptroller race remains too close to call, as several absentee/mail-in ballots remain to be counted. Congressman Pat Ryan, Assemblymember Jonathan Jacobson, State Senator Rob Rolison, and Assemblymember Didi Barrett won re-election. To see the full results for the county, click here.

November 9th, 12-1 PM: Kingston Elks Lodge #550 Veterans Day Curbside Lunch, free for all Veterans and $10 for guests. There are only 100 meals, so please reserve yours by calling 845-338-0220. For more information, click here.
November 10th, 8:30-11:30 AM: Gardiner Fire Department is hosting a Veterans Community Breakfast at the Fire House. Click here.
9 AM-2 PM: Operation Smile is a free day of Dentistry for Veterans. Putnam Dental Associates in Brewster is hosting it. To make an appointment, call 845-279-3720. Click here.
9 AM: Free Veterans Breakfast at Legion Hall 1796 in New Windsor. Click here.
November 11th, 8:45 AM: Lloyd Rod and Gun Clubβs Annual Veterans Day Breakfast will kick off with the Girl Scouts Color Guard at 0845. RSVP isnβt necessary but greatly appreciated so please contact 845-943-0562 for more information. Click here.
11 AM: The Dutchess County Office of Veterans Affairs will host a ceremony and laying of wreaths at the Dutchess County War Memorial, located at Raymond Avenue and Main Street in the Town of Poughkeepsie.
11:30 AM - 3 PM: Frank Guidoβs Little Italy is providing a complimentary buffet for all Veterans. This annual luncheon is always fantastic and well-attended. Click here.
November 12th: Complimentary Meal at the Culinary Institute. All Veterans will receive a complimentary lunch or dinner on Nov. 12 in these CIA restaurants (alcohol not included). Click here.
November 15th: 9 AM-4 PM- Albany Law School Pro Bono Veteran Law Day, to include lunch! You can register here and walk-ins are also welcome.Β If you need this type of help, the effort to get to Albany is worth it!
November 17th, 7 PM: Marist Menβs Basketball vs Army Nov. 17th at 7 pm at the McCann Arena. No registration is required and you can pick up the tickets at the box office. Click here.
November 29th, 10:30 AM: Mount Beacon Fire Tower Hike. This event is hosted by Guardian Revival, a Beacon-based non-profit organization that strives to preserve the mental well-being of Veterans and first responders β the guardians βΒ at no cost. Click here.
