Town of Poughkeepsie Town Hall

The Town of Poughkeepsie Citizens Committee on Housing Affordability, appointed by Supervisor Rebecca Edwards, is pleased to announce the release of a housing survey to gather essential feedback from town residents. This survey is a critical step in the committee's mission to produce recommendations to enhance housing affordability in Poughkeepsie.

The committee was established with a mission to study and propose actionable recommendations to improve housing affordability in Poughkeepsie. The committee’s focus includes expanding home-ownership opportunities, supporting income enhancement programs for residents, and addressing the housing needs of senior citizens and young families. The committee will meet regularly through January 2025, to present their findings and recommendations to the town.

The Citizens Committee on Housing Affordability urges all residents to take a few moments to complete the housing survey. Your feedback will directly influence the committee's recommendations.
